Kidd’s Kids Provides Unique Experiences to Deserving Kids and Families

Maurice Bartholomay works as an account manager for Case Experts, a company that provides a wide variety of individualized services to assist insurance carriers, claims administrators, and adjusters in managing their claims. Outside of his professional life, Maurice Bartholomay contributes to several charities, including Kidd’s Kids.

Kidd’s Kids is an Irving, Texas-based nonprofit organization founded in 1991 by Kidd Kraddick, host of the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show. The program’s goal is to positively impact the lives of children living with debilitating or chronic conditions. Kidd’s Kids initially offered children a bus ride to nearby SeaWorld San Antonio but has since expanded to offer approximately 50 deserving children each year a five-day, all-expense-paid vacation to Orlando’s Walt Disney World.

Nominations for the vacation are accepted for 10 weeks beginning during the first week of May. To be eligible, the child must be 5 to 12 years old, have a chronic or terminal condition, be physically challenged or have a catastrophic impairment caused by a congenital defect or an injury, live within the area served by the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show, and demonstrate a financial need. Eligible children may attend the trip with their parents and siblings.

Since its founding, Kidd’s Kids has provided this experience to over 1,000 children and their families.
